The complete works of Wilhelm Hauff in 4 volumes. Which is an achievement when you consider he died of typhoid fever aged 24. This edition dates from 1902, so may have been prepared on the occasion of his 100th birthday. While he’s not hugely famous today, his fairy tales are still being read.
